About this site:
The Way of the Dragon is dedicated to promulgating ideas and views about psychology, spirituality, cosmology, ecology, technology, health, education, and political and economic philosophy that reveal a more wholesome direction for human culture to progress.
The present course of most of the world's cultures, which are increasingly dominated by exploitive commercial, political and economic attitudes and practices, are destroying and/or degrading the viability of millions of people, animals, and habitats across the planet. This trend towards the globalization of commercial consumer values over all other values must be stopped by any means necessary.
One of these means is a vision of a viable alternative culture principled upon self-discipline, wisdom, compassion, democracy, capitalized socialism, ecologically sustainable industries and technologies, healthy and wholesome lifestyles, and a philosophical educational system. The Way of the Dragon is such a vision. If we fail to envision a real alternative to the present culture of consumerism, then we shall be consumed by it.
I believe we will meet the challenge out of sheer necessity, but I am not certain how we will meet it. Hopefully, we will find the collective will to meet it with forethought, wisdom, and action, rather than scrambling in a reactive helter-skelter salvage campaign.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION:
The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.
